Secretary of the congress of the Vladimir branch of the “Rassvet” political party. On 10 October 2024 the homes of local activists were searched as part of the criminal case investigation initiated against him. On the same day he was taken into custody. The head of the party Ekaterina Duntzova later said that a case of public justification of terrorism was initiated against Germizin for some posts and comments he made on Telegram. According to the investigation, he called for exploding state buildings. A Vladimir-based activist Danil Beliakov, creator of the anti-war project Rezonans, who has analyzed Germizin’s comments in several Telegram communities, assumes that it refers to comments on news about arson attacks on military recruitment offices. On 5 February 2025 he was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.

How to write the letter?

Getting started
What can I write about?
On censorship: what can’t I write?
Is it allowed to send photographs?
What language do I use in my letter?
What are the limits on sending letters?
Should I expect a reply and do I have to respond?
How do I maintain the correspondence?
I would like to send letters by myself, how do I do it?
How else can I support Russian dissidents?
It says that the prisoner I was assigned was tried for terrorism, or extremism or something else scary, what’s up with that?
