A resident of Volgograd, a student at the Volgograd Polytechnic College. In September 2024, his home was searched. After being interrogated by the FSB, he was released, but in October he was detained again and taken into custody on charges of high treason. According to his father, who spoke with "Mediazona," the reason was that Glukhov had met someone online who introduced himself as a Ukrainian citizen and claimed to be collecting signatures "to accelerate negotiations" between the two countries. He sent the student a bank account number in Ukraine, and Glukhov transferred 3,000 rubles (according to his mother, cited by media "Sibir.Realii," it was 1,450 rubles). Glukhov's father added that the case included his son’s correspondence with this individual, in which the student expressed his desire for the war to end and for peace to come soon. On May 29, 2025, Glukhov was sentenced to 12 years in a high-security penal colony.

How to write the letter?

Getting started
What can I write about?
On censorship: what can’t I write?
Is it allowed to send photographs?
What language do I use in my letter?
What are the limits on sending letters?
Should I expect a reply and do I have to respond?
How do I maintain the correspondence?
I would like to send letters by myself, how do I do it?
How else can I support Russian dissidents?
It says that the prisoner I was assigned was tried for terrorism, or extremism or something else scary, what’s up with that?
