A resident of Ust-Ilimsk (Irkutsk region). On 14 June 2024, he was searched at his home, during which a bag of cannabis was found. Apparently, after the search he was detained, but it was made out as if the next day he was swearing and urinating near a playground. On 17 June, the court arrested him under the administrative article on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences) for 12 days. On 28 June 2024, a criminal case was opened against Asalkhudin for public justification of terrorism because of a comment with the word "Pretty Boy" under a post about Ruslan Zinin who shot a military officer. Asalkhudin was taken into custody. Later it became known that he was also accused of preparing for sabotage (according to unconfirmed reports, during a search in his elderly mother's flat, petrol was found in a water tank for watering flowers), undergoing training to commit sabotage, preparing to participate in the activities of a terrorist organisation, drug possession and treason.

How to write the letter?

Getting started
What can I write about?
On censorship: what can’t I write?
Is it allowed to send photographs?
What language do I use in my letter?
What are the limits on sending letters?
Should I expect a reply and do I have to respond?
How do I maintain the correspondence?
I would like to send letters by myself, how do I do it?
How else can I support Russian dissidents?
It says that the prisoner I was assigned was tried for terrorism, or extremism or something else scary, what’s up with that?
