A resident of Krasnoyarsk. In 2008, she headed the Krasnoyarsk branch of the opposition United Civil Front (UCF) and was an activist in the opposition coalition "Drugaya Rossiya – Krasnoyarsk" (The Other Russia - Krasnoyarsk). Following a speech at a rally of the Revolutionary-Patriotic Union of Krasnoyarsk on 1 May 2008, in which she called for revolution, she was charged with inciting extremist activities. On 24 December 2008, Fatianova was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months, suspended.

On 28 July 2022, her home was searched on suspicion of publicly spreading knowingly false information about the Russian army through the newspaper "Raboche-krestyansky Serp i Molot" (Workers’ and Peasants’ Sickle and Hammer). She was questioned by the FSB but released without formal charges.

At the end of January 2024, it became known that a case had been opened against her for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation over materials published in the newspaper "Raboche-krestyansky Serp I Molot," which she distributed on 9 May 2023. On 4 December 2024, Fatianova was sentenced to 2 years of community service.

On 12 November 2025, the court modified her sentence, ordering her to serve the remaining part of the term in a colony-settlement.
