Resident of St. Petersburg, a schoolgirl. At the end of December 2024, a case of public justification of terrorism was brought against her because of photos of the founders of the Russian Volunteer Corps found on a stand at school. On 29 December, she was placed in custody. Later, she was also accused of promoting terrorist activities due to the posting of some leaflets, to which another teenager under the age of criminal responsibility confessed (in court, he said that he confessed under pressure from the investigator).

In April 2025 it became known that Bagrova was released from custody. On 13 October 2025, she was sentenced to four years in juvenile detention centre.

At the hearing in the court of appeal, which upheld the sentence, Bagrova said that during the investigation she was threatened: she was shown a picture of a beaten man and there were hints that she could be in his place if "the investigator does not like what I have to say".

How to write the letter?

Getting started
What can I write about?
On censorship: what can’t I write?
Is it allowed to send photographs?
What language do I use in my letter?
What are the limits on sending letters?
Should I expect a reply and do I have to respond?
How do I maintain the correspondence?
I would like to send letters by myself, how do I do it?
How else can I support Russian dissidents?
It says that the prisoner I was assigned was tried for terrorism, or extremism or something else scary, what’s up with that?
