He is a college student in Ufa. A case was opened against him for attempted arson of a military recruitment centre – according to initial reports, the case was opened under articles on attempted terrorism and sabotage. During his interrogation he allegedly said he had thrown a bottle at the military recruitment centre building as a protest against the war in Ukraine. Kuzovkin was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony; reports of the verdict only include the charge of preparing to commit a terrorist act.
