A resident of Vyborg, a historic town near the Finnish border. In 2022, he was fined under the administrative article on “discrediting” the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) after he tore a "Z" sticker off the car of a war participant and replaced it with a sticker reading "Don't give the Nazi salute". During the ensuing conflict, Mamporiia said he was unhappy with the pace of the so-called "special military operation".
In April 2025, it became known that a criminal case had been opened against him for repeated public display of extremist symbols, based on a comment containing the words "Glory to Ukraine". Mamporiia was placed under house arrest, and on 15 January 2026 he was taken into custody after the penal inspectorate reported that he had posted comments online while under restrictions.
