Resident of Volgograd. On 22 December 2023, he was detained with the use of force. According to Bagirov, he was blindfolded and laid on the floor, threatened with the article on high treason, saying that he had a connection with Ukrainians. On the footsteps of the inspection of the premises, his equipment was taken away from him. After a few days, some of the equipment was returned to him, after which he deleted his Google account. On 3 January 2024, an operative came to his home again and spoke to Bagirov under the pretext of anonymity. The next day, Bagirov was taken from his home to the FSB under the pretext of returning the last phone left in the department. Instead, however, Bagirov was asked for the password to the deleted account. He was also shown two comments on YouTube, allegedly left by him. Bagirov denied authorship.
Later it became known that a case of public justification of terrorism was brought against him because of his YouTube comments about the Ukrainian unit Azov and strikes on Belgorod region. On 23 January 2025, he was sentenced to four years in a general regime colony.

How to write the letter?

Getting started
What can I write about?
On censorship: what can’t I write?
Is it allowed to send photographs?
What language do I use in my letter?
What are the limits on sending letters?
Should I expect a reply and do I have to respond?
How do I maintain the correspondence?
I would like to send letters by myself, how do I do it?
How else can I support Russian dissidents?
It says that the prisoner I was assigned was tried for terrorism, or extremism or something else scary, what’s up with that?
