Resident of Krasnoyarsk. Supposedly a supporter of the "Artpodgotovka" movement. Detained in October 2022 on suspicion of arson at a military recruitment centre. During interrogation, according to the Baza Telegram channel, Petrauskas stated that he wanted to do a good deed for society. He was taken into custody.
Initially, the case was opened under the article on attempted terrorist act, but later the arson was considered a completed act.
On 16 August 2023 Petrauskas was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
In August 2024, it became known that the convict was prosecuted under the article on public justification of terrorism because of a conversation with prisoners from Ukraine about the Russian Freedom Legion. On 14 November 2024, Petrauskas was sentenced on this case to two and a half years; the total term, taking into account the unexecuted part of the sentence from the previous conviction, was nine years.

How to write the letter?

Getting started
What can I write about?
On censorship: what can’t I write?
Is it allowed to send photographs?
What language do I use in my letter?
What are the limits on sending letters?
Should I expect a reply and do I have to respond?
How do I maintain the correspondence?
I would like to send letters by myself, how do I do it?
How else can I support Russian dissidents?
It says that the prisoner I was assigned was tried for terrorism, or extremism or something else scary, what’s up with that?
