Resident of Kazan. On 18 June 2025, the court sentenced him to 15 years in a strict regime colony for the case of terrorist act and calls to extremism and terrorism. The charge of terrorism is related to the arson attack on the window of the premises of the magistrates' court of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan in February 2023. The court considered that Osyagin did it on the instructions of an "unidentified person" as a sign of disagreement with the war in Ukraine. Calls to extremism and terrorism were imputed to him because of his comments, which, according to the court, called for violence against representatives of state bodies, as well as Vladimir Putin.

The court named Osyagin as an opponent of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and a member of the anarchist association Combat Organisation of Anarcho-Communists.

How to write the letter?

Getting started
What can I write about?
On censorship: what can’t I write?
Is it allowed to send photographs?
What language do I use in my letter?
What are the limits on sending letters?
Should I expect a reply and do I have to respond?
How do I maintain the correspondence?
I would like to send letters by myself, how do I do it?
How else can I support Russian dissidents?
It says that the prisoner I was assigned was tried for terrorism, or extremism or something else scary, what’s up with that?
