Lyudmila Razumova

Artist, photojournalist. Detained and taken into custody in April 2022. Initially it was reported only that Razumova was accused of spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces, later it became known also about the charge of vandalism. At the investigation stage, Razumova admitted guilt, but during her last word she stated that she did not consider the videos she had published about the deaths of civilians in Ukraine to be "fakes". This was the reason for the resumption of the court investigation. In addition, Razumova said that the investigator blackmailed her child - her underage daughter. While in detention, she made a series of illustrations for Bulgakov's The White Guard.

On 7 March 2023, Razumova was sentenced to seven years.

In February 2025, Razumova was sent to a punishment cell in a penal colony for 14 days. The formal reason for this was that she allegedly "ate a candy from her neighbour's container". On 28 February, she went on a dry hunger strike.

In March Razumova was transferred to the prison hospital. On 24 March she had a conflict with another prisoner, Ksenia Nabatchikova. Razumova poured water on her in response to her aggressive action. After that, she attacked the artist, started beating and strangling her with a cord from a boiling pot, crossing it as a noose. On 22 April 2025, it became known that because of this conflict against Razumova initiated a case of causing minor harm to health. Razumova believes that Nabatchikova was deliberately placed with her in order to provoke a conflict.
