Resident of Kherson region (Ukraine). He was the deputy chairman of the Kherson regional Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. Detained on 4 March 2022 in Simferopol and taken into custody on charges of participation in the activities of an illegal armed formation, namely the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, which, apparently, had long been dormant at the time of the prosecution. On 30 November, he was sentenced to nine years in a high security prison.
